SINGAPORE AIRPORT

Hello all

Well this is the last stop over and I will be home... The 12 hour flight from London to Singapore was quiet quick considering! Another crazy thing happen i saw a girl I used to hang out with after school and we had been to the same places in the same amount of time crazy.

Brighton ENGLAND

Well Saturday was spent down on the beach front at Brighton.... That is south of London about 1 1/2 hours drive.

Lets just say the beach has big pebbles on it but people in spite of the freeezing winds the temp of the water there were people out there trying to catch waves even though thee wasn't any surf.

We walked out on Brighton Pier and there is an amuzment park on it and coffee shops and eateries. We walked in THE LANES of Brighton there the big specialty shops and we had some famous fish and chips for lunch.

The day was very relaxing just strolling along.

London ENGLAND

Thursday was spent in London not really site seeing as such... We went up on the BA London Eye and saw the site of London from a different view that was good.

The rest of the day was spent in Oxford street shopping and that was quiet nice just looking around at there summer wardrobe but I don't think that they really get a summer today has been over cast and rainny all day but hey....

Tomorrow we are heading out to see Winston Churchills house and then on Saturday we are heading down to Brighton...

Tonbridge and Tonbridge Wells ENGLAND

Well this was Wednesday events Billie and I headed into the local town that we are staying in to go shopping and Tonbridge wells is a 20 min bus trip down the road.

Lets just say everything in any part of LONDON is expensive.....

I haven't bought much but seemed to have spent alot of money in these little places.....

London ENGLAND 1st Day

Well we arrived on Monday the 15th May just came straight to Billie cousins house and had a home cooked meal...

Tuesday we went exploring in London Billie and I took the famous Big Bus Tour on a double dekker bus... The sights that we saw were:
BA London Eye
Trafalgar Square
South Bank Centre
Royal National Theatre
The OXO
Shakespeare Globe Theatre
St Pauls Catherdral
Crossed London Bridge and Tower Bridge
Went through the Tower of London
Buckingham Palace
Big Ben
London dungeon
Swiss RE tower (modern building that is all glass and looks funny)

We went on a river cruise basically saw some of the same attraction but from different angels and past the HMS Blefast...

It started raining in the afternoon so we bought an unbrella and still kept looking but we couldn't stand that anymore so we retreated to the movies for warmth and comfort to see ice age 2 (it was cute and funny)

We found that everything is very expensive....

Off to Tonbridge and Tonbridge well today that is about 45min south londan....

EUROPE AND FOOD

Just a little note to tell you what I found really funny and strange every place you go has a Kebab shop they can be right beside each other and when the whole town is shut like on sundays or in the evening the only thing that you will find that is open is a Kebab shop.......

Frankfurt GERMANY

Arrived in at the airport last night and dropped back the rent a car and then we all caught a train north of Frankfurt to the hotel that we are staying in for two nights...

We all went to the little local pub across the road from the hotel it was amusing as no one could really speak english and it was that little we had a tab going...

Today we have been trying to find a laundry mat but that was way expensive and of course trying to ring home for mothers day. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!

Today we are thinking about heading on a cruise up the Rhine River......

PARIS France

We arrived in paris on Wednesday evening and got a good night sleep before making our journey into Paris we are about 30min north or the heart of Paris staying at Balladines Hotel walls are very blank to look at but it is cheap.....

On arriving in Paris early Thursday morning we headed off and started with all the tourist attraction such as:
Musee d Orsay
Musse du Lourve
Arc de Triomphe
Luxembourg Park and Castle
Tuileries Park
Walking all this it is now 3pm in the arvo billie and I needed a rest so what else do you do in Paris head to the movies..... We saw Edision, great movie recommend to anyone.

So now dont worry the sun still shines until 10pm so we still had lots of tourist attraction to see and shopping....

We headed to the Eiffel Tower at 8pm so we could get best of both worlds Day light and the night show the view was amazing from the top and below.

Now it is friday arvo and we are quiet stuffed feet are sore and need that massage.... Today we saw the following attraction by foot and by the metro:
Mouline Rouge
Sacre coeur
Red Light District Europe like there Sex
Notre Dame

Lot of retail therapy shopping shopping and more shopping.....

Tomorrow off for the drive back to Frankfurt don't know where we'll be stopping......

NETHERLANDS Amsterdam

The dutch tradition of the WEED, WHEELS and WINDMILLS is very true of the city..

We arrived on Monday the 8th of May and stayed in a little hotel called the Amigo's and then we have headed accross town on the 9th of May and we are staying in the Flying Pig Hostel in this is a little closer to town.

Billie and I have done some retail therapy today throught the heart of Amsterdam. We have enjoyed a lovely canal tour that was pretty boring nothing much to see from that level... The coffee shops you can order a Latte and some pot. Clogs are easy to come by in the heart of the city.

Some thing I have learned that back in the day the width of doors was as much tax levy you had to pay and you would imagine that all door way and stair wells are very small.

Now an interesting part is the red light district and Billie and I thought we would expand our minds and headed to the SEX MUSEUM. In every shop you enter being souvenour shops book shops and clothes shops they have errotic stuff everywhere, no need to head to a sex shop around here.

TOMORROW OFF TO PARIS

Copenhagen in DENMARK

We have arrived in Denmark on the Friday night had to catch the Ferry from Germany to Denmark was a really nice boat ride but very cold first time we have all seen water in a little while and for Kristy and Glyn it has been a long time.

The hostel in Copenhagen is only 2 km out of the city centre and the trains run very frequently, we are staying three nights so this should be relaxing.

We have met up with Billie family so they are being our tour guides and it is wonderful to have someone that know what they are doing in the city.

Saturday morning we have woken up and have been driven around the out skirts of the city up to some small fishing towns and then up to Mary and Fredrick Castle and then some other castles one which was take from shakespere Hamlet, we saw the Mermaid Statue that the everyone will remeber from the movie and book.

Saturday night was spent in the heart of Copenhagen with listening to a alternate live bands in the parks then ended up at a pub.

Sunday we caught the train into the city centre and headed off on a walk through the pretty streets had a nice coffee. We all went on a canal tour through the heart of Copenhagen and saw the Opera house Queens summer palace the large harbour port where the Navy ships doc and really nice appartments on the canals. The afternoon was spent in the park and browsing through the pedestrian strip. With the best end to the day Billie relatives (Paul and Birgette) cooking us a lovely home cooked meal.
Missing everyone so much I started to get a little home sick today.....

One thing we aren't getting use to is the Sun it never goes down, at 10pm it is still daylight so the nights are long..

Berlin GERMANY safe and sound ö

This was a beautiful city for sure I so want to go back there...

The history is unbelievable and I was so interested to learn about the East and West side of Germany and the way life was back then.... Will tell more about what I have leart when I have more time on a Computer...

The public transport is brilliant and I never got lost

Poland in the city of Pozlan

Hello All
Well this is wednesday the 3rd May at 9.20pm ..... the sun is just starting to go down.

We have crossed the boarder of Germany into Polland so another stamp in the passport. I haven't been able to down load photos yet but hopefully soon. We have had to exchange money again as this is another currency :-)

We are all travelling well missing everyone heaps. The city is so laid back and pretty we are heading into the city tomorrow to look at muesums and stuff.....
